Have you wonder why things happen to you (and not the rest)? Have you been in a situation whereby you have already gone through before and you have to repeat again?
Why do you think it has to be you? Why not others?
Actually, I have been having these thoughts for so long. It was not answered until I learnt Reiki. Reiki has put me in a new perspective that I have never encounter before. I get answers from Reiki principles.
As mentioned, Reiki is NOT a religion. Therefore, in my opinion, it is good as it breaks all the barrier that individual religion should have. In fact, I am more interested in Religion and beliefs now as I wanted to use Reiki as a system to understand more about them.
Okay, back to the topic on Lessons. In Reiki, a person has to go through lessons are should I say, are going through lessons everyday. With Reiki, I observed more.
For example, you are always late and your boss not like it. You repeated this process and thought that your boss not like you. If you observe, you already have a pattern. You are late and you did not break this pattern. Then it repeat itself by how your boss felt about you being late.
Try this. Being early for a week (try very hard). See if you could break this pattern.
Next example is something that you may not agree with me. If you hate or don't like a person, try this.
Step out. Think in terms of that person. Ask yourself why he/she don't like you. Analyse the situation. Since when did this person started not liking you. Is it something that got to do with an accident? Or is he/she born like that (means he/she don't like people that has similar character as you and not just you).
There are many situations. Think if it has a pattern or not. Some patterns cannot be broken. It is the environment that cause the pattern but if you know it, you will feel much better in that pattern (because you already know it) and you will try to re-invent to get out of that pattern.
Easy? It is not. For myself, I already identified patterns in my life but I am still trying to convince myself to get out of that.
It is easier said than done. However, I believe that once you see the goodness in it, you will be more into it. Be mindful though, some are good patterns and should be continued. The good gets better.
So, why I am not talking about lesson? Actually, lessons are just incidents that you encountered everyday. I brush with an accident will leave you wary of watching out for traffic next time you wanted to do that again. However, good thing is that we can foresee things. Before you do anything, think of the consequences or at least the end results. If you can do that, that is already a lesson learnt (without going through it).
However, if you could not remember it, you will have to go through it again, someday.
Are these things that I mentioned familiar to you? If yes, you are like anybody else, learning lessons.
All these are my thoughts after my Reiki lessons. Do you think they make sense?? Would love to hear from anyone browsing this blog.
