Feeling the Reiki Energy

If you read around on the Internet, one of the things that you may noticed is the user experience. For example, some may feel a tingling feeling, some will feel heat or some will feel cold. It is difficult to define, sometimes.

I read in Wikipedia that scientist dismissed Reiki as no scientific proof.

There is no scientific evidence for either the existence of ki or any mechanism for its manipulation, and a systematic review of randomized clinical trials conducted in 2008 did not support the efficacy of reiki or its recommendation for use in the treatment of any condition

Recently (actually these few days), I did a test with my wife. I use my palm to send energy to her palm. After a few seconds, she says she can feel the heat. I took maybe it is coincidence. I tried a few more times and confirmed that she can feel it.

I was happy with the results. Not because I can emit heat to her palm. It is because it means that my body can let Reiki energy flows through my palm to her without touching her.

As mentioned in the teaching, we are just a media for the Reiki energy to pass through us. We are healers but not a healer that has special skills that need to be learnt. Reiki practitioners do have the ability to heal but they are only using the Reiki channeled into their body to heal a person.

I will continue to practice and see if I can have other breakthrough. Stay tuned.
